I get tired of people going on about Zambrano being a head case. The guy is high-strung at times, but he's a competitor and a workhorse and he's one of the better pitchers out there. I can think of 30 teams that would love to have him in their starting rotation.

I agree. He's a hot head, but it doesn't affect his performance on the mound so I have no problem with it.

I love his competitive nature. Sure, he goes overboard at times, but he produces. Add that to the fact that he is a threat at the plate, and I'd love to have him on my team.

Milton Bradley on the other hand...:ohbrother:

It may help him. It may hurt him.

I've yet to see a time when Zambrano losing his cool has helped his performance.

He doesn't care what Bradley does as long as he's producing, remember----oh wait...........

 Your obsession with me and the team I root for is getting old and creeping me out honestly...

Exactly! My only problem with the team is Bradley. If he were performing his antics could be tolerable but he isn't playing to his abilities and I'm sick of the guy. Anyone know if he has a no trade clause?

His reputation and contract are essentially a no-trade clause ... no one is going to deal for him.

Hey, I was just responding to HT's post--I had nothing to do with starting this thread. He's the one that was paging you to respond to this one. I was just quoting what you always say about Bradley. Bradley is the one I have the problem with--he's a complete clown that doesn't respect the game. The only problem I had with you was your defense of him.

I know HT, I don't know you:thumb: And I'll say it again, if he produced I could handle him, he's not, so I'm not. Got it?

He hits a batter after a steal of home.

He is known for hitting batters after another one hits a HR.

I consider this the signs of a head case.

Example besides Edmonds cause Edmonds was trying to show him up?

I don't have a problem with any of that. All part of baseball, IMO.

I like a pitcher who has authority on the mound.

THrowing at a batter after a suicide bunt attempt? that is crazy.

I think we're all overlooking the biggest part of this story - Ryan Freel is the man and got the replacement spot.:ylsuper:

Part of baseball. Hit him in the #'s and don't let the ball get up around the shoulders / head area and it's alright by me.
