Hope Treg will be OK. Met his mom at the state AAU tourney. Nice family.

Just returned from a month in the frigid Canadian Wilderness, so I haven't heard.

Who has been named the head coach at St. Patrick???

Looks like they are doing OK.

I think its more of Coach Kendall wanting to let the younger kids play than Coach Reitz having anything to do with it. Some of the best freshman basketball players are not even playing basketball right now but it gives the ones that are great experience.

It's a good thing somebody shows some interest in basketball. Don't be fooled about what it takes to be successful. Finding players to participate is like pulling teeth and Harrison doesn't have many upperclassmen knocking the door down to play or even practice for that matter. Other matters are much more pressing in the summertime!!

Arent most of Harrison Countys upperclassmen plan on attending college to play baseball? If thats the case I would say that they would concentrate on that before basketball.

Pendleton County JV, and Varsity had to be at PCHS at 6:30 AM on Friday to be in Lexington by 9:00 AM so their to JV teams could play. PC's 2nd JV team (Freshman) played 12 hours apart. PC's last game was at 9:30 PM and that was there 2nd JV team, (Freshman team I think). Then on Saturday they played once again at 9:00 AM and had to be at the HS at 6:30 again. Why in the world would the KBA schedule them that far apart? This is a little out there for me?? Would anyone know or think why they would do this?? Only getting 5 or 6 hours asleep two nights in a row is a strain on a 14 year old's body. After the dead period they will actually be able to enjoy there summer, without having to think about Basketball

I'm going to move this to the KBA state Tournament thread.

Big blow for the Royals. Barner is a solid player. Any idea where he's transferring?

Not a big blow,he gave little scoring and was a liability late in games,he and his family got what they wanted a championship ring and another trrip to state tourney, family was unhappy with the way he was handled with game situations ,Mason will survive with the great young players that have been in the system.
