Which is why the Cubs are in fourth place. No clutch hitting from this group.

This game's been a high-wire act for Reds pitchers. With all the baserunners they've stranded, it can't be said that the Cubs didn't have chances.

They should have only scored 1 run if Bronson didn't have a mental lapse on a 1 hopper right back to him. The Cubs have been big time struggling w/ RISP.

I wonder why Dusty is using Burton in this situaiton, especially the way Burton has struggled all season.

You just know that's going to come back and bite the Reds. I feel a wild pitch coming on.

The same can be said for the Reds, actually, as they have 9 LOB.

Got the sacrifice now need to get the fly ball or hit.

Reds blow another chance. It's hard to argue with the sacrifice by Hernandez, but as good as he is at going the other way, it wouldn't have hurt to have given him a chance to drive Nix in.

The only way the Cubs win this one is if they hit a home run. They won't get an RBI hit any other way.

Or if Burton has to go two innings.

I wonder how many times people have started a sentence w/ "I wonder why Dusty" in his career?

I'm not sure if the pitch or the throw was better on that play.
