May 30, 200917 yr http://www.amnews.com/public_html/?module=displaystory&story_id=50448&format=html This story is just bizarre. Supposedly, a couple was fighting at the marina and the man threw his wife into the water and ran her over with a pontoon. She died instantly. He then tied a rope around her leg and drove the boat to land. Meanwhile, two inmates at Northpoint Training Facility were fishing on the bank and witnessed the whole thing. The man says his wife fell in the water. A witness or two says he pushed her in intentionally. What a bizarre situation... Inmates get to take fishing trips?:isurrender:
May 30, 200917 yr It's being reported that Dr Hall is being held in Boyle Detention as murder suspect.

May 30, 200917 yr Bizarre. I can't get over the two prisoners taking a fishing trip. To be such a bizarre sad story, there is SO MUCH to it that is (quite frankly) hard not to chuckle at. I mean, how many times do you have prisoners on a fishing trip witness a murder?
May 30, 200917 yr Author To be such a bizarre sad story, there is SO MUCH to it that is (quite frankly) hard not to chuckle at. I mean, how many times do you have prisoners on a fishing trip witness a murder? Unbelievable. What kind of prison is Northpoint anyways? After reading this story, the crime rate may actually increase. How ironic would it be if the doctor has to serve a sentence at Northpoint and ends up fishing beside the marina?

How ironic would it be if the doctor has to serve a sentence at Northpoint and ends up fishing beside the marina? I'm pretty sure Northpoint is only a medium security prison. I would assume that prisoners on good behavior may be able to go to the lake to fish. I don't know if it's the case at Northpoint, but I know at Eddyville, certain prisoners that had good behavior actually lived in houses just outside the perimeter fences. Obviously still supervised, but not behind the fence.
