stick1 Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Balt is finally going to bring him up Friday. I think he might be the best catcher in the game by the end of the year. I really think he is going to be one of the more special catchers to play the game. He is huge, great on defense and will end up around Mauer+Martinez as the best hitting catchers there are today IMO. Could be wrong but I have high hopes for him. Balt has some nice young talent. If you all need a fantasy catcher I would jump all over him right now.

If he plays anywhere close to the hype, I can drop AJ Pierzynski and get a more useful player on the roster. I've also got Tommy Hanson from Atlanta on my roster. I'm hoping they'll bring him up at some point.

John Anthony Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I am in a contract league. I signed him to a 6 year deal so he's my catcher for quite sometime. I do not think he will end the year as the best catcher though.
