I would love to see Isler take the mound against Highlands (also a District winner) in a later round of the region. It would be poetic justice to have him close out his 9th region 3 sport high school career by mowing down the Birds in payback for a couple of not so pleasant evenings spent at David Cecil Memorial Stadium.

If CovCath ever faces Highlands they will throw Krumme. The two weakest teams IMO are Highlands and St. Henry.

They've beaten 3 of the 8 teams, and haven't played two of them. I think they'll atleast compete.

CovCath is the team to beat (no doubt). However, if a team gets them into a close game with a great effort on the mound, who knows? Its post season and if you get the confidence going strange things happen. Trust me Highlands will compete JB would not except anything else in fact it is one of his favorite words in the box. It is nice to be an underdog for a change. I think they have grown as a team and the group of seniors are setting the table for Highlands baseball for years to come.

I don't care how the seeding turns out as long as CovCath wins it all

 

Ideally I'd like them to get St. Henry first round so that they can save Isler for the second round opponent.

 

Do you think Coach Krumps would not throw his number 1 pitcher? I believe Meyerhoff taught everyone a lesson about that a year ago. That type of disrespect can fuel the opponent. I think he would start Isler and put the pressure on the bats to score enough early then take him out so he could come back quickly.

If CCH drew SHDHS I do not think we would see Isler.

I still think CCH throws Krumme against SHDHS. He's 7 or 8 and 0 on the mound. Who says it's a disrespect thing? He's just a very good pitcher that just isn't paid any attention to because he's behind Isler and Nutini. Many forget he beat Apollo earlier in the year, if that means anything.
