May 21, 200917 yr I have watched the trailor a few times and I think this is going to be very funny! Anyone else looking forward to seeing this?
May 21, 200917 yr Looks pretty good. I'm a little worried though as none of the "big name" comedy guys are in it....That usually means disappointment.

It is by the same director of Old School and really, how "big name" were Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Jeremy Piven before that movie? Besides Bradley Cooper (Sack from Wedding Crashers), Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development among others), Heather Graham (Austin Powers), and Mike Epps (Next Friday) should be very funny.

The Big Lebowski? American Pie? I don't know that any of the lead actors in those movies were "big name" comedy guys at the time the movies were made. I could be wrong about that though. A comedy doesn't have to have Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, or Vince Vaughn to be good. Bradley Cooper is a good actor, and funny too in movies like "Wedding Crashers", "Yes, Man" albeit in smaller roles. Ed Helms is one of my favorite actors on "The Office". Zach Galifianakis is a very funny stand up comedian. I think this will be great not only because of the actors, but because Todd Phillips is directing. He directed Old School and Starsky and Hutch as well. Which were both funny IMO.

May 22, 200917 yr I don't find Sandler or Rogen even remotely funny, so..... So who were the "Big Name" comedy guys that you're looking for? Please tell me it isn't Ricky Bobby or Paul Blart.
May 22, 200917 yr Vince Vaughn, Paul Rudd, Sean William Scott, Owen Wilson, Ben Stillar, Steve Carrell.....
May 22, 200917 yr Vince Vaughn, Paul Rudd, Sean William Scott, Owen Wilson, Ben Stillar, Steve Carrell..... Vince Vaughn made his name in a Todd Phillips movie, that was largely unknown until word of mouth spread in "Old School". Sean William Scott was also in Old School and was far from the funniest thing in the "American Pie" Movies and he's had as many misses as hits. Owen Wilson, seriously? Drillbit Taylor, You Me and Dupree? Again, just as many misses as hits. Ben Stiller is just a caricature of himself at this point. And Steve Carrell, Evan Almighty anyone? The guys in this movie are just as competent as the ones you listed and they've got Todd Phillips as their director. If you liked the above actors in Road Trip, Starsky and Hutch, Old School and School For Scoundrels you should give this a look. Go and see how many of the actors you mentioned were in those movies.
