6'4 Chad Jackson- Scott Co

6'3 Ge'Lawn Guyn- Scott Co

6'7 Elijah Pittman- Holmes

6'5 Ricardo Johnson- Holmes

After Eutons falling out with UK, do folks still believe that he will play on the D1 level?

I don't think anyone has said that. If you read the thread title, this is for the CLASS OF 2010.

 

There are several other teams around the state with D1 talent, who are more than capable of winning the state title next year such as Eastern (Marks, Abell, Gaines), GRC (Stenzel, Purvis, Zollo), Christian Co (Wilson, Kates), and Warren Central (Fant, Shanklin), to name a few.

Euton is having a very solid summer. In games with OBC he has went against some very talented kids such as Jared Sullinger and held his own. Dakotah's defense is really improving.

Are you upset that these Ky boys are getting noticed? That seems sad to me. I do wish some more guys would have gotten noticed, but its good to see those 5 get some credit.

I love these 3 teams to compete this year. I would add Jalyn Daniels to the GRC team for depth. Should be fun and exciting to watch this coming season!

Which 4 are you referring to?

 

I would say he has more upside than Euton for sure. But, I think Jackson, Pittman, Johnson and Guyn have a pretty good skill set. Guyn is rated a 3 star and is the only ranked by the Rivals 100. I wouldnt rate Sewell above those 4, but I would rate him right there with them.

At the DI level he will probably move to 2 or a 3, which he can play.

I know Dakota can stroke it from the perimeter. But, I dont know that he could hang out on the perimeter as a 2 on the D1 level. I think he would struggle with the quickness. Now, if he could play the 3, where he could go inside/outside, I could see him doing more of that.

No way Sewell should be ahead of R. Johnson, Pittman, Guyn, or Jackson. All 4 have much better all around games than Sewell.

 

Guyn, Pittman, and R. Johnson are also probably the 3 most athletically gifted kids in the state.

 

Sewell is definetly a top 5 player in the state and a legit D1 prospect, but to say he's better than any of those 4 when he's accomplished no where near what they have is somewhat downgrading the talents of those 4.

I disagreed with someone that said this class is strong and will have at least 15 D1 signees, but there is alot of D1 schools and they rank from UConn, UK, UL to the Austin Peay and Tennesse Martins. So I do think that Euton will sign with a D1 school. This class may be deeper than what I give them credit for. It is great that those 5 players are listed in the top 100 of thier class, but most likely only 3 of those guys will play at a major D1 and when I say Major D1 I mean schools like Vandy, Wisc., Kstate big schools in good conf. but not your contenders, we dont have anyone that is going to North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Louisville ect.

You dont think Gwyn (SP) could play at Louisville? By play I mean a similar role to that of Knowles, come in hit a couple shots and play solid D. I could see him playing there over some of the others, but I do agree with you that there will be a lot of kids from this class going to good mid-majors and lower end schools a in BCS conferences.
