May 20, 200917 yr Ouch. Smith might have torn his MCL on that last rebound attempt. He went up for it with Bryant and got unintentionally undercut by Ariza. Looked bad. Yes it did, they really didn't go much into or show much of a replay because it was over but it looked ugly.

To me it is a very smart play and if Denver hits a 3 go to OT and then beat the Lakers in OT, then Phil is stupid for not fouling in that situation. And if they make the first free throw, purposely miss the second, get the rebound and score a bucket, then Phil is stupid for fouling lol. You could argue for and against both scenarios.
May 20, 200917 yr Author When he wants to be. I'd agree in the regular season, but the Melo in the playoffs has been a Melo I haven't seen since Syracuse won the title. Now that he is getting a real taste of playoff basketball, he will become a HOF player. We are watching him and his game mature. I love it. Him, Bron Bron, CP3 will make for some epic battles in the near future, just like we hoped they would.

They probably made him pay for dinner and all kinds of stuff. I'd have loved to have been a fly on the wall when they were riding him. I will be surprised if it is not a serious injury. His right foot stayed gripped on the floor as he knee torqued about 45 degrees the wrong way. YIKES!
