Who will be his assistants?

Anyone heard anything about this? Who else was on staff last year other than Cody and Earlywine?

Whatever happened to Corey Williams?

Wallance Brooks helped last year.

Not really a surprise hire!

Well here is a quick list:

Derek Robinson-Western

Chez Marks- Morehead

Preston LeMaster-UK

Alvin Sims-Louisville

Clinton Sims-Boston College then Eastern

Corey Williams-maybe the greatest player ever to play in the tenth region! Kinda the Lloyd Daniels of his day!Jason Earlywine- rated in the top 10 of his class nationally during freshman year, didn't go D-1 but still something to hang your hat on.

I think Mason County fans may see the greatest player in the 10th region a little different, not to forget Ronnie Lyons, Chris Lofton, oh yea and that other kid by the name of Darius Miller.

Then you have never seen Corey Williams play or don't remember him, saying he was one of the best to play ever in Kentucky would not be laying it on. I've heard his coach Russ Day say many times Corey could have played in the NBA without question had it not been for off the court issues. I've even heard stories of him jumping over a Deming player for a dunk in Dirt Bowl game, just a man among boys who started in the 8th grade.

Corey Williams was the real deal on the floor. Off the floor was another story.

Corey Williams is the 2nd best high school player I've ever seen, behind Rex Chapman. I've got a GREAT Corey Williams off the floor story if you want to PM me!

Corey Williams was a man amongst children. We(Buckhorn) played them in a summer game back in the late 80s. During a FT, a friend of mine was standing with Corey at half court for a 2 shot foul. Williams looks straight at my friend and says that if his teammate misses the second FT, he is going to slam the miss. At this point, we didn't know a great deal about Williams other than the hype. Needless to say, the kid missed the 2nd FT and Corey Williams followed it up with a 2 hand slam. He was the real deal, at least, from a talent standpoint.

Would the story have to center around the infamous Pitino call to Corey when Corey was a little nailed down if you catch my drift? If anybody has ever heard anything about Corey I know you have heard this rumor, pretty amusing and shows just how talented he was!

Corey was the truth I'm telling you...rated among top three in his class...class included Jason Kidd, Chris Webber, Jalen Rose, just to name a few.

Actually, it has to do with a visit to the Paris Hardee's.
