I remember when a tornado passed just south of Richmond in 1995 about the same time in May. Bad weather for about three week straight. It was the first time I ever heard storm sirens.

The rain was torrential in Louisville earlier this evening. The fortunately wasn't too bad, but I'd say we got at least two or three inches of rain in a very short period of time. nWo, glad to hear everyone there is alright. :thumb:

Thanks Deuce. The reports this morning are now saying that there was possibly two tornado touchdowns in Madison County yesterday. There was also a report of 1 death out in the hwy 1295 area.

 

I wouldn't be shocked to hear that if a tornado hit Waco that it started forming near my house. With the hail and the rain coming down so hard I couldn't see across the street.

Have you heard any more on the injuries?

I know there were several injuries and one woman was killed. There was one person missing and the last I heard they are still searching for that person.

Wow. I live in Richmond but where I live it wasn't nearly as bad. I wasn't in Richmond at the time, but my roomate was and said it didn't get too bad at our apartment. This looks pretty bad based on pictures, I hope not too many were injured or killed. It's unfortunate that any were.

From the looks of the damage, I'm almost certain there was a tornado.

Most of it was just south of Richmond from around Kirksville, Paint Lick to Waco. Also on Duncannon Lane. The fire station and one factory received significant damage. A friend of mine just left. He lives out that way. He says they still have no power.

 

I just saw a report that there was some kind of festival going on at Kirksville school and the storm past just behind the school.
