May 12, 200917 yr Author This phone bill was found in a National Weather Service employee's yard in Powell County. It was blown from the second home the tornado struck, 35 miles to the southwest in Garrard County!
May 13, 200917 yr Author I understand now why the weather acted the way it did at my house last Friday. This picture was sent to me by a friend who I work with. She knew I lived closed to this car dealership. That is Toyota South on the Robert R. Martin By-Pass. The intersection is with Four-Mile Rd. I live about a half mile away. The picture was taken from the new Kohl's parking lot. They said the building was actually shaking when the funnel cloud went by.

May 13, 200917 yr Author My plant manager told me today that he heard on the radio yesterday that there were actually 3 funnel clouds in Madison County but only one touched down.

I live between Richmond and Waco about 2.5 miles from the intersection of 52 and the By-Pass. I was home at the time and the wind was blowing as hard as i've ever seen. I didn't really think to much of it at the time. Then watching the news later I realized that the path of the Tornado went practically right over my house. The weather people said it was going up and back down a lot between Kirksville and Waco. Scary stuff looking back on it

I thought about that all day after my friend sent me that picture.
