It was very graceful to say the least....

I believe that Colleges only have 11.7 Baseball Scholarships to offer to players if I'm not mistaken... Anyone like to confirm that?

I agree its sad that sports like Football have something in the neighborhood of like 70+ players on scholarship but its one of those things...

11.7 is correct. To make matters worse, if a school gives an athlete any baseball scholarship money at all, the athlete must receive a minimum of a 25% scholarship. This creates a situation where a large number of baseball players at NCAA D1 schools are paying their own way. These are the rules set forth for D1 Baseball by such intelligent visionaries like Myles Brand.:puke: Here is a link: http://mississippistate.scout.com/2/681418.html

Isler was given an offered to attend NKU with free tuition and books.

Cin X offered close to 40%.

The UC offer blew the Islers away, and with the major that Ice will be going after, he will be eligible for the Metro rate. From what I know, Ice is very happy as is his Mom and Dad with the cost of going to UC. While it isn't free, it isn't too much either, especially when you compare it to the cost of attending CovCath for four years.

BTW the slide, was a direct order from his football coach, he had no choice.

Congrats to Isler!
