FDA Warns "Stop Using Hydroxycut"

I didn't realize I had already posted here. At least I'm consistent.

The product is junk IMO, that's why I have hateful words for it.

How'd it make you feel?

I've never been a big fan of any diet pills. Always something sketchy about taking something that makes you lose weight, IMo.

I've never tried anything like this, as I've never really wanted to cut weight. From what I'd seen though my biggest fears would be dehydration and exhaustion, possibly causing other more sever damage or complications.

Very weird, that's about the only way I can explain it.

I had a buddy that used to take it and thats pretty much how he summed it up. Said at one point he felt so weird that he thought he was starting to have some kind of heart problem, I guess he was experiencing like an irregular heartbeat or something. In his words he said he thought he might have been getting ready to have a mild heart attack or at least thats how it felt to him. Said it scared him to death and would never touch it again.

^ I have felt something similar to that while taking it. I have also heard people say it made them feel weird but it never really did that to me so I don't know really. Seems like it did the job. I will be taking both the bottles back that I have.

High levels of caffeine can cause palpitations. Hydroxycut and other similar products are basically a megadose of caffeine with a mix of other stimulants.

These products were once effective (although with some risk involved) but after ephedra was banned IMO they are effective only at increased energy - not weight loss.

Tried it once, hated the way it made me feel. Jumpy, jittery, on edge, slightly nauseous. Unfortunately I learned the only way to look the way I want is good old fashioned hard work and sweat with a little bit of nutrition management thrown in!

An increased heart rate was common with products that contained ephedrine, which has since been banned. Five or six years ago I took Xenadrine that contained ephedrine and thought my heart was going to explode a couple of times. It did give me extra energy and weight loss, but it was dangerous and I’m glad they banned it.

Just took back what I had left to GNC, had like 9 pills left out of 252, no reciept, so they gave me the lowest price they've sold for in the past 6 months which was like $40 bucks and it was in store credit only, so I just picked up some Leukic :D

^ I just took 2 bottles back and got $145 store credit.

 Be honest, did you move some from your current open bottle to an empty bottle? Wish I still had an empty bottle
