Franklin County guard Barrett Meyer and Lexington Catholic guard Taylor Botkin are headed to play basketball for the Pioneers. I want to thank Barrett for all the memories, I've watched you grow as a player since you were a young sprout. Congratulations and I am sure you will be a fantastic college basketball player.

Thats great! Both players will fit in very well at Transy. Also, I had heard a couple days ago that Transy was recruiting James David Strange hard. That would be the makings of a great class for Transy!

Hes from Pineville and is very similar to Meyer. Hes probably a little more of a PG than Meyer and is slightly smaller IMO.

Transy has also been recruiting Montgomery County guard Brandon Rash

Keith Downing of Mason also is headed to Transy. Do any of these guys have size?

 

Tierney, Parton, and Chris Owens should be the 3 starting guards. But they need some size in there with Big Man Blake McCown.

Satterwhite is about 6'8".
