Just out of curiosity- and I hope you don't respond as poorly as you do to most inquiries- are you saying that it is inappropriate for the President to address the public with any religious imagery present? And, since President Obama is not a minister, priest, or preacher, were you equally infuriated when the President's swearing-in began with a prayer?

Are you a christian? Do you believe in what the Bible says and truly believe it's true? If so, then you know it says if you deny Christ he'll deny you. I don't get how it's that hard to understand?

Unless I have incorrectly understood what you are saying, due to the fact that there should be a clear separation of church and state, it is perfectly reasonable for the White House to request all religious symbols be covered up. Using this logic, since there should be a clear separation of church and state, then having a prayer before the inaugural address is also inappropriate.

 

My question is, if you felt the need to speak up on how what the White House did was right here, why did you not criticize the White House when they allowed a prayer before the Inaugural Address, which blurs the distinction between Church and state?

You are grossly skewing what "deny Christ" means. It is rejecting salvation and failing to repent and ask for forgiveness, not covering up engraved words on a wall, but then again I suspect you know that already.

Denying Christ could also include hiding your belief in him from other men. Do you think that if you denied you believed in Christ in front of man you wouldn't be denying Christ?

If you don't believe in God, Jesus, or the Bible then obviously it's not a big deal to you... But I don't see how a person of God can just shrug this off their shoulders? Seems to me that religous views are being put behind political views which is disturbing. And to be fair, if this was George W. I would be jumping down his throat as well.

No one is saying he can't be forgiven, you are twisting our words as much as you accuse us of twisting scripture. Not once did anyone say forgiveness isn't possible we have all just said we feel that denying Christ in front of people is just that denying Christ and that is a sin.

Like HT721 said, your twisting my words crazy. You can be forgiven, thats whats so great about it! But that still doesn't mean it's right to hide the Lord's name. What Obama did was wrong, but he can be forgiven!
