From a total outsiders view...discrimination against Catholics happens with much less frequency than discrimination against the Islamic faith. And it's not close.

By covering up Jesus. If that is not a bashing, then he is ashamed of being associated with Christianity. Our forefathers were not ashamed of being called Christians. They often used quotations from the Bible in deliverying there messages.

If Obama were a minister, priest, preacher, etc, it would be okay to give a speech in front of thousands of cameras with Jesus behind him. However, he is not a minister, priest or a preacher. He is the President of the United States.

So? Are you saying that him standing in front of a statue of Jesus is some how the President identifying Christianity as a national religion???? This same President who just recently took his vow on the BIBLE!!!!!! Do you remember that day?

You will not find that in the Constitution. It was written that no one religion would become the faith of the land. It said nothing about seperation of church and state. That is a made-up from one statement in a private letter by Jefferson and used by the liberals against Christianity.

I believe that was done for PR. They just did not want a Muslim seen on TV with Obama, fearing some backlash, which is wrong as well.
