What teams were playing?

What teams were playing?

I'm pretty sure KY Players were out there and another team that consisted of Barner and a few other Mason Co players.

Since this is the HS forum I will only mention the 17U (I did not see much of the 15/16s), KY Players were in the finals Vs Ohio Prep, I had to leave halfway through the first half, at that time it was a very good and close game.

Who stood out to you in the games you saw at the 17U level?

That team with the Mason Co players were in the semi's Vs KY Players, and the other semi finalist was the Datyon (Ohio) Nets. It was a very good field this weekend!

Speaking of Barner, I was talking to him yesterday (Nice young man BTW), as I thought he was with the KY Players, he is now with Charlotte Court. It's that time of year where kids decide to jump ship and play for someone else. On that note, we now have two openings as well.

Johnson brothers of course, as well as Pittman for the Players, I forgot who #4 for the Players was, but he was doing well. Barner did well and one other from Mason. Sorry I don't have the names of some of them.

KY Players seemed to have recovered nicely from their harsh from the tourney last week. BUT, we also played that team a few hours before them, and they were solid! I was told by someone with that team that it is possibly Mike Price's best team since they won the national 17u AAU tourney, I think it was about 10 years ago.

Where is everyone at this weekend?

U17 Shining Stars McFarland are off.

U17 Shining Stars Price teams are at the Hawks classic in Cincinnati.

Where is everyone at this weekend?

DSAS and Team Kentucky are at Sports Plus for the Queen City tourney.

NKY bulldogs have a very nice team.

i was mistaken

Last weekend after finals at Louisville and all is quiet. I made the trip over to Hoops to check out a tournament going on over there. Who is the "Team Kentucky" team that played in the "Roundball Rumble"? They have two kids that really impressed me, but i dont know their names. Numbers 22 & 24. Really good ball players. 22 was was fillin' it up from 3 point range and had a nice pentration game. Number 24 was a good shooter and had pretty solid moves under the basket. Number 20 was also pretty solid.

Also had a chance to watch the NKY Bulldogs play again. They looked real good to me again. Bobby Stauffer had a nice game from what I saw. Probably 18-20 points and 10 boards or so. They also had a nice player, number 24. Does anyone know who this kid is?

Shining Stars (Jackson) 17 yr old team played in a Tourney at Mid America Complex in Louisville and won the tournament. Played in the finals against the Louisville Lakers. There were 12 teams in the 17 age group I believe.

Shining Stars Pittman 15u won their tournament at the Lakota Schools

The Shining Star Sports-Pittman (15u) team has played in three tournaments. They have won two of the three and lost in the championship game of the other. They are off to a fantastic start.

The team has a great group of guards.

Cody Chambers of Simon Kenton

Ross Muncy of Lexington Catholic

Bryan Woomer of Lexington Catholic

Cameron Duncan of Desales

Cooper Downs of Boone County

This is a fun team to watch. They play defense all over the floor and really push the ball on offense. They shoot a ton of threes with a lot of different players.
