Thunder is definitely a must see, especially if you've never been. If you live in Jeff though, you could just stay on the Indiana side, probably would save yourself lots of time and trouble afterwards with the traffic trying to get back across the bridge.

Yeah, I've never been and you're probably right, I may just stay here in Jeff. I've just been up here a few weeks so I'll ask some of the experienced spectators where a good spot to watch would be.

Staying on the IN side will just save you some time. The vantage point is pretty much the same, except that on that side you'll get to see the Louisville skyline.

We aren't going to be in town this weekend but I had a free parking pass (from where I work which is about 2 blocks from the river - prime property) but I gave it away to someone MrRk works with. Sorry!!!!

April 14, 200917 yr Author Technically, Thunder lasts from 3pm till about 10:30 pm when you include the Airshow. The fireworks are generally between 30 and 45 minutes long, and yes there is a sound track every year.
