April 9, 200917 yr I know some people that are going down. What exactly is it? Bluegrass Stakes Day is Saturday. It's pretty much the last major Derby prep race, unless you count the Coolmore Lexington Stakes, which is the following weekend. Serious Derby hopefuls generally don't run in the Coolmore, as it is only two weeks before the Derby; there may be one Derby runner come out of that race.

My first meet was last October. I worked every Friday that meet, and this meet I'm doing Saturdays. Regardless I like working there. :thumb: Hope I can find a "real" job though, so I don't have to do it anymore :lol:.

April 10, 200917 yr I went last week and walked away with $490 in my pocket! How, you might ask? My buddy's girlfriend was watching the horses out on the paddock and would say "That horse is pretty, its going to win!" So, I listened, and won 4 races in a row!:ylsuper:

So, I listened, and won 4 races in a row!:ylsuper: A co-worker went last week, and put $2 down on a horse "because he looked happy" in the paddock. Paid $34 to win. Sad thing, she's a good handicapper.
