March 29, 200917 yr UL had a rough start, but they've gotten on track via three point shooting, nailing three in a row to go up 13-10 on MSU, just under 10 minutes left.
March 29, 200917 yr Author All square at 22 with 2:52 left in the first. The pace definitely favors MSU, but some of UL's best scorers haven't gotten on the board yet. If they get going, look out.
March 29, 200917 yr Author Michigan State shooting 43% from the field, 4/8 from three, 4/5 from the free throw line, and have 12 rebounds. Louisville shooting 41% from the field, 4/9 from three, 3/5 from the free throw line, have 14 rebounds and 2 blocks. Louisville is also winning the turnover battle, with only 6 to MSU's 8. Every bit as close as the score indicates.
March 29, 200917 yr Knowles is playing excellent so far, already with 10 points. Preston had 11 point is this half. He has really helped keep the Cards in the game. He has really stepped up his play offensively since the Big East tourney. He already was one of their best defensive players.
March 29, 200917 yr Louisville really needs to improve their spacing on offense, and they need Clark and/or Williams to play a good 2nd half or they are in trouble. Fire 'em up Coach......
March 29, 200917 yr Author Preston had 11 point is this half. He has really helped keep the Cards in the game. He has really stepped up his play offensively since the Big East tourney. He already was one of their best defensive players. As always, it's great to see a Kentucky kid do well, and he's having a great game on a big stage!
March 29, 200917 yr The Cards are generally a team that comes out of the break in full force, but this one is a little different IMO, because Izzo is the guy in the other locker room. Should be a great 2nd half!
