Franklin County's DeRon Hicks signs with Union

Congratulations to DeRon for signing with Union College last week in the school's media center. He will join his brother Demetrius. DeRon was District MVP and All-State Honorable Mention by the Courier Journal. DeRon has done a lot of things for the Franklin County program and I wish him nothing but the best. Thanks for the memories DeRon and good luck.

I saw Hicks at Auburn last summer and was extremely impressed.

Congrats to to him. Union is getting better players with there facilities. They may be the best facilities in the mid-south conference, but that is up for debate somewhere else.

Congrats Deron. Deron is a great kid and great family, he had alot of interest from schools on many levels. I think the Hicks Family got a nice financial package for Meechie and Deron both going to school there!!!

Oakley is still undecided. He is a 4.0 student with a great ACT and SAT score. He wants to be a lawyer so he is looking into good academics to make his deciscion.
