Gabbard was the best PG in NKY last year, and will be again this year. That is saying a lot when you take into account that Holmes had Riley.

 

I'm not slighting him at all, but Ive just never heard of him. I can't see him being the best pg on this team though with Jackson being on the team.

There is another Shining Star team at the 17's level coached by Kevin Bundy.

 

They could be playing on that team.

We are still working on our roster, we have 2 players who have not played with us as of yet do to prior commitments, and 2 others are on on our DL list and should be back in the next few weeks.

For the younger team the NKY Tarheels look loaded. After speaking with one of the parents they combined the Wildcats and Wolfpack. Good gaurds and bigs. Should be a good summer for them.

I guess I was wrong about Sewell palying on this team. I heard he played with the Shining Stars this past weekend. I also heard they looked pretty good.

I would like to hear more about this past weekend at the Knoxvegas Heat Tournament. Who played well for Ky Players, Shining Star and HBL teams from Louisville? From the Tournament website it looked like all these teams were out in the first round of bracket play, correct me if I'm wrong.

Watson is playing on the Shining Stars (Bundy) team with Sorrell (SK), Rieger/Armstrong (Brossart), O'Conner/Niederigger?(Scott) and some others. Lother, Dill, Grubbs & Grote are playing with the Firebirds with a couple of players(McDaniel/Collins) from Newport, etc. Dill is into select baseball and Grubbs is committed to HHS football/camps, not sure how much hoops they are planning to play.
