In all fairness, I think he wasn't impressed with the qb, not so much the team. I probably shouldn't say he thinks his team is better.

Well you can't judge the book by it's cover we will find out from them later on in the season. I just could figure out where is was coming from because he didn't say who his team was. I know tha Mcreary has a good qb with the Watts kid so maybe he is comparing the two. Anyway we will see how good the Bell Co qb is in a few weeks I geuss.

His team is most definetily McCreary Central. I didn't say he thought his team was better than Bell. But He sure thinks they are vastly improved, and I sure hope so!!!!

I saw Bell co.'s QB at Score 6 camp. Coaching Staff has work cut out for them trying to get him ready. I could see Dudley moveing his son to FB and just handing the ball to one of those speed backs. Boy are they Quick.

 

They are struggling with their backs too. They are very slow and the linemen are very weak. I don't know what they'll do for receivers either this year.

Where are all of the Bell Co. faithfull? I figured this thread would have 50 posts by now. I guess I will start. Bell needs to keep on doing the same thing because you don't fix was isn't broken. With that being said I believe they will be beatable. They were almost beaten last year twice by Knox and in the championship game. They lost some great athletes and players/positions on both sides of the ball. Now, I know they will replace them with some good athletes but sometimes you just can't get the quality of athlete you lost and I beleive that will be the case. With that being said I still think they are at least a top 5 team for 2009 until it is proven different!

 

It may me just talking here but Bell Co. reloads right not rebuilds right? The Bobcats never have a down year that is if you call a 6-5 season down, for most teams around the state that is a desent year. Bell Co. will be great this year state title again who knows but the team that beat them will win the title, my point is if you want to win it all it goes through the blue and white.

I'm not for sure, but I heard that Dominic Carton is suspended the first three games this season over some trouble he got into. Any one know if their is any truth to this?

I don't think there is any truth to it at all I will check into it. I will try to get to one of the practices this week and find out.

I think I speak for all of Boyle County when I wish Bell County the best of luck this year. I had alot of fun with the trip to Bell County last year even though my beloved Rebels lost. We all want to see a rematch, win or lose. With the expectations for both teams, we all expect to see you guys making the trip to Boyle County. Hopefully it all works out like this.
