From what I have been told they have a pretty tough schedule. Open up with Alcoa and then not in any order Johnson Central, Whitley Co, Marion Co and Soddy Daisey out of Chattanooga are their non district games.

Thats a tough non-district schedule. That will be exciting to see Bell Co. play those games.

It is a little dissapointing though that Bell will have to travel so much and no one local besides Whitley Co. will play.

We havent always been on the same page Krack Back, but I couldnt agree with you more. I said it after the state game last year that I think the '09 teams has alot more potential than the '08 team, and would IMO be far more athletic. I just cant stop bragging on Matt Raines for one, heard he went to a combine in Cincinnati and put on a show. Also have heard that both him and Scotty Henderson have been pretty impressive running track so far. No disrespect to anyone on the schedule, but I think that if Bell pulls this game against Alcoa out, we could see the third straight undefeated reg. season, and another 15-0 season I would hope:thumb:. Offseason seems like it lasts forever haha.

Soddy Daisy and Johnson Central won't be easy tasks by far. I don't under estimate Knox Central either.

Also, a trip to Marion county will not be walk in the park, they defeated Bullitt East in the regular season last year and return several starters and Harlan Co., well we all can remember the good ol days of Bell vs. Cawood, Now Cawood has added 2 other schools with it. Spoke with one of the Booster members yesterday that is having a Bell county state championship quilt made to raffle off. It is going to have all the names and coaches on the 1991 team and this years 2008 team, just one of many things to come, can't wait.

That sounds pretty neat. Can't wait it won't be long now. This should be a very interesting season can't believe that it is right upon us.

Any news out of the Bell Co camp? I know about Davenport at the combine but anything else?
