Kirk Chism is Trimble County's New Football Coach

The team is meeting with their new coach as I type this. They deserved to learn first.

 

Chism was a head middle school coach at Trimble County for several years, with several winning seasons under his belt. He also served as an assistant coach under former coach Poynter during the 2005, 2006 and 2007 seasons.

 

I am sure that our local newspaper, the Madison Courier, will have an article on him in the days to follow. When they do, I will post a link.

He was not, though he was willing to. Others took up that responsibility and it has been going well.

I believe that he had a father that was ill and underwent major surgery at some point last year. He was unable to make the summer committment for last season. He did coach golf last season.
