I may be wrong on this one but isn't that UK's 2nd SEC series win for the year?

I could be wrong on that, it could be 3.

The only series wins they have to my knowledge have been over Vandy and now Tennessee.

Don't know, let me check it out.Be back in a few.

Vandy,Miss.St. and now UT. You do the math.:D:thumb:

UK still has an uphill climb to even make the SEC tourney.

Yes they do,but anything can happen to this young group of Batcats, they're so unpredictable.

There were questions about Henderson's ability as a head coach, and I think it may be showing.

They had a top ranked recruiting class coming in (I know, they lost several key players), but they aren't performing like Cohen would have them.

Is the baseball program a program that Barnhart would consider making a change if things don't start looking better in the next few years considering all the success (and potential success) Kentucky had with Cohen?

Or is it like the women basketball program in which it is more of an afterthought on how they perform?

Batcats took the first two games of a 3-game weekend series vs Auburn 6-5 in 10 and 6-3 yesterday, going for the sweep today.GO CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sorry to say that the Batcats lost today 7-5 to Auburn.:irked:

I'm trying to figure out what has to happen to get into the SEC tourney. It looks like any combination of a Vandy loss and UK win ties us with Vandy...which means we win the tie break for the 8th spot?

Also, why are the league standings set up into divisions if it's the top 8 overall who move on?

Today's loss to Auburn cost Kentucky dearly. The Wildcats just about need a sweep at Florida next weekend, and even that may not be enough. If Vanderbilt beats Tennessee two out of three next weekend, the Commodores are in.

Because the division winners receive the top two seeds.

So there's still a chance...Vandy's got Tn at home so that doesn't help...but, it we win two at Fl and they drop two, we're in...right? But if we don't at least win two and they win one more than us, then it's over?

Thanks for the help!

I don't think so ... Vandy is 1 1/2 games ahead of Kentucky, and that would only close the gap to a 1/2 game.

(You need not answer if you're tired of my questions, I'm kinda workin it out now)...the net is we have to sweep and they must lose at least 2 for us to get in...not good. Or.... we win two, rain out one; and they lose two...good night.:isurrender:

The Batcats lost today to Florida in the final 13-9 to end their season.
