Thank you for the Link. I was able to find some grainy video footage from You Tube. Sort of a highlight reel from the All "A" Classic. The Justice kid appears to be the real deal. It will be exciting to see Mason and Valley duke it out in the full court. I predict a high scoring game in the 80's. I am Royal at heart, but good luck to both teams.

Rule 14

Think the Royals will win the "bottom quarter of the bracket All A classic" by ruining two good stories in Shelby and Elliott, then have to do battle with the survivor of the top half of that bracket--Talk about a loaded half!!!! Survivor does battle with Eastern Saturday night!!

 

SV and Mason the best first round matchup and I could really see it going either way--Love the Elliott story, but I think their downfall will be their coach's lack of developing any bench throughout those tons of blowouts the last couple years. Would be a monster task to win the bottom of this bracket playing 5-6 players, but stranger things have happened?? Best of luck to all the teams!!

Mason by 4. Now that they proved they can beat good teams at the BOK Arena hopefully the experience will carry them to another victory at Rupp!

Yeah, Mason totally didn't get what was considered "ZOMG teh toughest draw ever!!!111!" according to BGP. And it's completely Mason's fault that Clark battled down to the wire with a team Mason beat by 21 on the road.

You know and I know that Mason had the best draw. In the semi's Mason cruised to an easy win getting to rest half the game using their subs and Clark had a hard fight beating Scott ,not getting any rest or using subs. It has nothing to do with how many points Mason beat Scott during the season.We're talking about back to back games.

No one is talking "fault" or excuses. When you look at the reason Mason won you have to consider all the variables involved. Clark County is a young team and with our sophomore class only getting better I am sure we will be competetive next year! Like I said before there is always next year!:ylsuper:

Hey, I said from the beginning that Mason got a good draw.

 

I was more commenting on how it's funny that I got killed for saying that at the time because Brossart was going to be such a tough first round opponent, yet the games are played and all of a sudden the prevailing logic is that they had a cakewalk.

 

That's all I've got. I'll let this get back to the Mason County-Shelby Valley discussion.

My questions on this game...I have not seen Shelby Valley

 

1. Who guards Middleton (with him being 6'4)?

2. Can Downing stay out of foul trouble and bother Justice with his length or are Hamm and Gilbert better suited to guard Justice?

3. Can SV big man match up athletically with Pawsat and Barner?

4. Can Pawsat physically match up with the big guy.

 

Mason Co. is a very versatile team, they can change there whole makeup without losing anything talentwise. Should be a great game. I'll guess and take Mason by 3.
