March 9, 200917 yr Anyone watching or following it? I love this. It is like the playoffs in spring training.
March 9, 200917 yr I do like the tourney, but so many players are obviously not at the top of their game that it is hard for me to make the playoff comparsion from an executuion standpoint. There does seem to be a lot of intensity, which makes the games exciting to watch.

The players show so much national pride it is fun to watch. The pitching is rusty and the hitting isn't as good as mid-season form, but still great to watch.
March 9, 200917 yr I don't know, this game is pretty intense for this time of year. I found it interesting that the announcer said the USA team partied like they were in a fraternity during the last WBC. :lol:
