OK, you got me! I am just making a point that when you're good, you're good. Fortunately, Elliott County is one of those teams.

I am hearing T. Knipp will not play tonight can any Elliott fans verify this. I still don't see the Lions having any trouble they will just get after them a little more with the press. Good luck to the Lions.

I'm not counting him out. I figured he would dress and only play in an emegency situation, but someone close to the situation said he wasn't playing.

Holmes has only scored 88 points total in the last two games, can't see them scoring 31 points in one quarter.

 

Against Russell? You must keep in mind the quality of the competition. Ryle and NCC are just a bit better than Russell, don't you think?

 

Elliott County can show up in the middle of the second quarter and still run away in this one. Again, you must keep in mind the quality of the competition.

I would sure think a so called top 5 team in the state could score more than 41 and 47 points against Ryle and NCC.

Seems like it would be smarter to let him sit if there was any doubt or risk. It's going to take an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime performance combined with a bad game by Elliott County for anyone but the Lions to be making the trip to Rupp...Knipp or no Knipp.

Certainly. They're one of the top teams in the state and they're playing in one of the weaker regions...if Elliott County gets knocked off before the Sweet 16, there won't be a bigger upset in regional play. They're the strongest favorite of the 16 regions when you consider how good they are relative to the rest of their region.

 

They should steamroll Ashland tonight and then do the same to the winner of Lewis/Bath tomorrow.

Not so fast my friend! I dont see Ashland trying to run and gun with them, in a slow down game Ashland might stand a chance. I say EC wins but closer than the experts think.

The coach might want to look for a new profession if his game plan is to run with Elliott County.

 

I can't recall seeing Ashland ever play fast. They always play a deliberate, slow style.

Getting ready to leave for the game and just got word that Timmy Knip will not be playing tonight. The source that told me this said that they didn't know if he would dress tonight or not, but he will not play if not needed.
