Not to take away from Lincoln because they did win the game. Just saying I didn't the game was called the best either way.

The ref's let them climb all over each other the last half minute but I guess I would say it was even handed. The really only questionable deal was the lengthy delay for the injury. Seems like they dragged it out so she would not miss much action. But you got to hand it to her, she is hard core.

 

We're heartbroken and the Lady Pat's are elated as you might imagine but I'll tell you one thing, you couldn't get that much excitement for $6 anywhere. What a battle.

This was a classic battle that I enjoyed right up to the very end. The last few minutes was painful though. Cant understand all the fouling there at the end. Who knows if they should have moved Upchurch the safety of the kids come first always err on the side of caution. Both teams should be proud on heck of a game.

I have to say the 14th officiating is interesting. Especially when one of your best wears a belt with their pants, been a long time since I have seen that. In a high school game anyway, I see it all the time in my son's rec league, just not in a regional semifinal game. For all of that complain about the 12th region officiating, bite your tongue.

Rockcastle fans were upset about it because it seemed to cool off their run. But, I was told that if they had moved her without closing up the wound, that the blood would have been all over the floor.

 

That was done on purpose to delay the game. if she could come back in and play she could have been moved off the court so the game could continue. That is what a towel is for. Apply pressure to a wound to stop blood flow and it would not have gotten all over the place.
