Billy Gillispie - Around the Horn

All I am saying is the media, the fans, and players leaving, doesn't help recruiting. Personally, I say he needs at least two years with HIS OWN players before being judged. And yes, this Team needs more talent for sure, but no way they should lose to Georgia. I believe there is a major problem or two inside that locker room. :idunno:

Thanks for the clarification on the recruiting comment. I agree with all of the above.

Smart move to let him go after the year, but that's just me. Maybe give him 1 more year, see how it goes. But I don't see UK fans enduring another 20-22 win season, and losing in the opening round, or 2nd of the NCAA tournament.

I dont think they where talking about us fireing BCG did you hear seth davis at halftime of the uconn pitt game.

No what did he say?

That Gillispie may not be around long. A good coach, just not a good fit. Also said Kentucky doesn't have a good class coming in next year (is he a fool?) and that Gillispie pursued the Oklahoma State job last year and wasn't chosen (is he a tool?).

Did anyone else see the piece on ESPN today that they did on UK the week of the Georgia game?

BCG did not look or sound like a good coach or one that anyone would enjoy playing for.

The man just simply can not coach. He got lucky at his first 2 stops. Sure, he had a good team at Texas A&M, but that was also a horrible year in the Big 12. A coach takes his players, whether he recruited them or not, and COACHES them. You make adjustments with what you have and come up with different strategies to beat your opponent. He has not done that this year...

:thumb: I completely agree. He can't coach a bit.
