Any opinions from either Region?

I think this is at least the 2nd year this has happened. Regions from around the state partner up with each other except for the 8th (I think).

I'd like to issue an early apology to the 9th region.

 

Just kidding...every region is the same - they have some really good refs and some that need a little more experience :thumb:

A ref told me this morning that this is true. Its the second year they have been doing this.

The 10th and 11th keep their officials.

After first 2 games in 16th region, all I can say is that the two games last night were called very differently.

How so? I totally agree that each region has a different "flavor" to it, if you will. How are these officials different?

Different in what way do they call 3 seconds, do they watch the feet on a walk call not the head or ball fake.

I meant they were different from 1st game to 2nd, to me the crews did not call anything alike.

Do you feel like there is a difference in the type of officiating in various regions?

I noticed it when I played, but that was a while back. Haven't paid attention to that this season.

Switch them out for districts also, would be less local control of the outcome. I like it ,long time coming.
