February 28, 200917 yr Author I don't remember, I watched two other games and they are all jumbled. I believe it was by 2 or 4. It was a hard fought game, Summit led much of the game but Twenhofel never let them pull away.
March 1, 200917 yr Great game by Twenhofel...final was 41-37. Summit had their chances but only 4 players scored for them and that's not how they should play at all. Too many forced shots and not enough ball movement. I give credit to Twenhofel's "D" on some of it...heard some of their game plan was to make sure SV's shooter didn't get any open looks and he put up 3 shots the whole game. I can make excuses all night long, but it comes down to Twenhofel making plays at the end and Summit not. Congrats Breds!!
March 1, 200917 yr I agree Dad, they just didn't look fresh at the end of the game when it was tied at 31. I knew when the Breds fought back to tie it at 31 from 31-23 or 24? Summit was in trouble. The bench points were the true difference of the game, Summit didn't have any. I'm proud of this group, final number I believe were 82- 10 over three years? March 2, 200917 yr Great job by 2 great teams! The word team being emphasized - because they both seemed to play great team basketball.
March 2, 200917 yr Hope this ends up with some great things for SK in the 8th Reg. combining TWMS and several of the players from SVMS should make a really good basketball team in future SK. :banana:
