February 27, 200917 yr Summit 54 Holmes 35.. Nice team win for the JAGS..... Very nice win. Like I said, you zone Holmes and they are done. They have nice athletic kids but no shooters and score most of their baskets off the press and in transition. I like SV in the finals. I think if they keep Racke pushed out away from the basket and get a hand in Barnes' face all night they will win. They play a very tough zone defense with their quickness and length it will pose problems for the Breds.

February 27, 200917 yr SVMS looked like the better team yesterday, no doubt. Jackson seemed to control the paint with much bigger opponents crashing the boards all around him. I would expect that he will dominate Racke. Sampson was all over the place last night against Holmes and should continue that against TWMS. I'll take SVMS in a close one with one caveat. TWMS seems to have one guy that steps up each game and take over- Montgomery last night...Norton last year in the championship vs. Holmes........Bowling against Conner. Where will Jackson go to HS?
February 27, 200917 yr Forgot to mention Huesman for SVMS.......he hit big shot after big shot for the Jags. TWMS will have to play straight up on D and not help off- a big advantage for Sampson and Jackson.
