Statmaster Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Lady Rams just turned it over too much. Russells press gave them fits.
16thBBall Fan Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Congrats to Russell. Tough year for the Lady Rams.
YNot Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Way to go Russell, awesome job ladies!!!!!:dancingpa:dancingpa:dancingpa
Cubster Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Ginny Ferguson and Sarah Hanson were outstanding for the Lady Devils.
oldrambler Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Congrats to Russell girls on the win. Tough loss to end a rough (14-14) season for the Lady Rams. Raceland had beaten Russell ealy in the season but the Lady Devils won the one that counted and their players deserved the win. Time to roll out the softball equipment now Lady Rams.
CURTIS LOWE Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Russell out played Raceland the entire game. Did not understand why Raceland did not press more.Russell's press gave Raceland fits to many turnovers from it.
Big Slick Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Ginny Ferguson and Sarah Hanson were outstanding for the Lady Devils. Ginny and Sarah were the keys IMO, congrats to the Lady Devils!
Cubster Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Ferguson 17, Simpson 16, and Hanson 15 for the Lady Devils.
sidelinedoc Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 I am shocked at the final score, not that Russell won. I assumed a very hard fought close game. I was picking the home team, but not at all suprised that the Russell won. Sounds like the press just wore the Lady Rams down. Congrats to Russell on the win and to the Lady Rams on a nice season. :dancingpa
Ram Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 Congratulations to Russell, they played hard and definitely deserved the win. Good luck to them and Lewis County in the District Finals. Thank you to Jessie Clarke for a hard fought senior season, Jessie always played hard and was a great contributor to the Lady Rams this season. She may not have led the Lady Rams in scoring, but her effort never went unnoticed by this Ram fan. She played hard and aways looked to help her team. You will be missed Jessie, and good luck in life after high school. Once a "Lady" Ram always a Ram.

Ram Posted February 24, 2009 Posted February 24, 2009 She played very well last night. A real asset to her team all season.:thumb: Anybody know what the T was about ? It was about what it has been about all season, Brooke Keeton's inability to deal with her temper. She got fouled on a shot, and after the foul was called, she pushed the Russell player with her shoulder. Good call by the official.

It may not seem like it now, but life hasn't even started yet........................
