cch5432 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I watched about 4 minutes before I had to turn it off. It was unbearable. Neither of them would shut up. When Joy Behar said that Clinton left Bush a surplus (which was a lie) and Ann Coulter's response was nothing more than "Yeah, on paper" I had to turn it off. I've been following politics for less than 2 years and I don't get paid anything like she does but I could have formed a more coherent defense if I was drunk. To me, Ann Coulter represents everything wrong with American conservatism. Her ideas do not represent a political philosophy such as CLASSICAL liberalism which stands for small government and individual rights. Instead, her views are nothing more than "Anti-Democrat." If it weren't for the fact that she is good-looking, we would have never heard from her. She is an embarrassment.
Pirate Pride Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Can't stand Coulter. Frankly, I am not a fan of any of the "extreme" talking heads, i.e., Coulter, Rush, Chris Matthews, Olberman, etc. I realize that most of these political pundits have an ideological position that biases them, but the ones I have listed above (and some others surely) are little more than agenda driven propoganda. IMO, people who are fans of the above and looking for affirmation of their already held opinions, not information or debate.

woodsrider Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Something about Colture I just can't stand. I have never been able to put my finger on it but just have never liked her. I would sooner watch grass grow then listen to anything from Behar. She is a joke and how she has a job doing what she does is beyond me. She repeats talking points that she read in the morning paper.
Log Mountain Boy Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I don't believe the term "think before you speak" has ever been a common practice for either ladies IMO.
"old"shooter Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Both are abominations. However, at least Coulter is well educated.
Dlbdonn Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Both of them are un-listenable . ( Is that a word ?):idunno:

rockmom Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Behar is on the view. Oh. I don't watch the View. My boss (for some unkown reason) doesn't allow me to watch TV at work. :idunno:
woodsrider Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Oh. I don't watch the View. My boss (for some unkown reason) doesn't allow me to watch TV at work. :idunno: I only know because she seems to make news every week with something else stupid she has said.

MountainThunder Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 2 blowhards at the same time? More than my tiny brain could take.
