McDonalds All American Game

Every year Duke and UNC seem to be a top 5 program. Thats directly related to recruiting.

I wouldn't say Duke is a top 5 program. They haven't been a legit top 10 team IMO in 4 or 5 years. They still have good players and a lot are deserving of their credit.

As for UNC there is no doubt they get the best recruits now consistently. I don't think anyone is arguing that.

Duke has been very good at points over the last 25 years......in this decade alone they have won a title, and been to another Final Four.....they are Top 5, don't let your hatred dissuade your opinion.

So 1 Title and 1 FF gets you a Top 5 for the Decade? Not Buying it.

Is Orton still injured?

How many others have a higher winning percentage, more 2 Final Fours or more, and 2 titles? It's a short list brother. Duke was also 37-2 and lost in the Championship in 1999.

The Heels bring in 4 more Burger boys...

:dancingpa

What a joke that some of these kids made this squad when guys like Royce White and Daniel Orton did not. Maybe Orton's injury kept him from being eligible, not for sure.

However, this gane is more political than anything, it is all about the school you choose and who you know!

You have to play at least half of your SR season to be eligible...

I was meaning more on a year to year basis. Overall Duke is a top 5 program. But what I am saying is IMO Dukes not had a top 5 or 10 team since Luol Deng was there. They haven't made it beyond the Sweet 16 since then.

Speaking of Duke here is some of the guys that have been McDonald's All Americans going to the school:

Eric Boateng

Jon Scheyer (he is actually a good player, but IMO there is no way hes a McDonald's All American)

Michael Thompson

Casey Sanders

Sean Dockery

Shavlich Randolph

Taymon Domzalski

Joey Beard

Ricky Price

Crawford Palmer

Lance Thomas

Taylor King

Chris Burgess

Take off King, he transferred.

Thanks for posting this. It says a lot about the selection process in regards to Duke.

That is an awfully disappointing list of Burger Boy's from Duke. Where did King transfer to?

That can't be the complete list from Duke though?
