To Meeks : you can not go pro until you learn to handle the ball better, learn to pass better and learn to make better decisions when taking the ball to the basket, besides with a better supporting cast next year you will be a favorite for POY and be looked at as a lottery pick.

 

To Patterson: you need to work on your game facing the basket as a PF which you will get to play next year when Orton is in the post. You have to prove to the scouts.

 

To BCG: skip the interviews like Rick P. and no one will get on you. Do what you do best and recruit, recruit, and recruit some more, talent sure can make you look like a good coach. You may want to rethink the way you sub.

 

To the fans: you are looking at the rock bottom, this time next year will make you forget about this rough patch we all in. The entire team returns, throw in the newcomers and next year is going to be special. Just like with Brooks, be patient and watch BCG do his thing.

 

Amen, Meeks will be a 2 in the NBA and will be matched up against the likes of Kobe, Brandon Roy and Durant. Anyone on this site that thinks his defensive skills are refined enough to keep any of the people under 30 is just naive. Patterson has pretty much one offensive move he's perfected and that's a drop step, turn and dunk.

I am a Florida Football fan, but I can remember many saying Brooks should have been gone long ago, but had this happened would UK have went to four straight bowl games or what ever it was including a top ten appearance in 07? Give him time to get his system installed fully and get the players he wants and things will be ok.

Brooks came in when the UK football program was coming off of probation, not the same as Billy G at all. I get the implementing your style argument, but honestly Billy G has very similar styles to Tubby and if anything UK has regressed a little since he came in. Brooks improved every year and now has sustained some success.

UK basketball was in a Tubby induced recruiting probation, this team has 0 senior leadership because of what he left BCG. The offense and scoring are higher and the defense is just as good or better. Just wait until he loads up with his players.

So it's not like BCG was inheiriting the 98 team, and someone said that Brooks had made progress in every season since he has been there: BCG had already lost more games through January of 08 (9 on January 19th) than he has lost this season (8). And the Cats finished with 13 last season, so barring a big slide, I don't see BCG matching the 13 losses from last season.

Exactly! BCG or no BCG, I am confident that UK will once again be back on top within the next 10 years.

Heard from a sorce BCG isn't happy UK isn't happy ab=nd sicnce his contract was never signed this could be his last year. A big role in this is that Billy Donovan is upset with Florida so he could bemoving to UK.

Tennessee was ranked #1 at one point last season and Vandy was as high as #4 I think. So the SEC east in Basketball was pretty good last season.
