Just curious if the 11th Region faithful think that Scott Co. is a sure thing to make it to Rupp or will Lex Cath have something to say about that? As 11th Region teams are progressing as they head into post season play, what teams do you think other than Scott Co. have a REAL shot at winning the region? I follow the 9th pretty closely, but haven't had much in-person view of 11th Region teams. Just wonderin' what your gut tells you is REALLY possible. :idunno:

 

Well with 2 of their top 6 players out with bad ankles and Jackson in foul trouble the whole game, and them STILL winning this game at Lex Cath with some home court advantage well known, I think they they are obvious favorites.

Scott County still had their four Division I prospects on the floor ... I realize that Manning is quite a talent for a freshman, but it isn't like the Cardinals didn't have plenty of talent on the court.

I believe thats only LexCath's 2nd loss of the year at home. Their only other loss was to an out of state team without Vee Sanford. I saw 3 exceptionally talented freshmen play last night. Jaylen Beckham, Tamron Manning, and Isaiah Ivery are all going to be great players down the road IMO.

True, but it is hard to win games when you have certain pieces out of your line-up. Manning is the #2 ballhandler on their press break and Aaron Ford is probably the second best ballhandler on the team. Then that leaves Jackson as the only one left and he was in foul trouble all night. All the odds were against them and they still won this game. IMO, the biggest win of the year for the Cards.
