February 12, 200917 yr I just shelled out 455.00 for a Dyson DC 25 all flloors vacuum. It's the one with the ball that lets you move it in any direction. I've read several reviews on this vacuum, and most people give it a very good rating. I was wondering if anybody on BGP owned one, and if so, what they thought of it.
February 12, 200917 yr I love this vacuum. :ylsuper::ylsuper: What can I say I like to clean. Part of my therapy is when I get to vacuum just makes you feel refreshed! Yes I know I am dork!:lol:

February 12, 200917 yr LRCW, my wife and I are Rainbow vacuumers. The Dyson is pretty cool and way less expensive than the monster we bought. Once you go Rainbow, you don't go back!:thumb:

Once you go Rainbow, you don't go back!:thumb: My mother in law has a rainbow, and all the emptying and filling of water is just too much work. Plus she has had numerous problems with it.
February 12, 200917 yr We talked to a few different vacuum stores over the summer, and all of them told us to not waste our money on the Dysons. If I'm not mistaken, they are made with mostly plastic, and just sucking up a penny could break the motor.

February 13, 200917 yr Put in wood simulated floors and swiffer. That is what we did. Still have our rainbow, though.
February 13, 200917 yr We had the Dyson and it was junk. It kept breaking down and it never lived up to the claims they made. The only thing more frustrating than trying to actually use the thing was trying to get any satisfaction whatsoever from customer service. It finally became too much to deal with and we junked it.
February 13, 200917 yr :laugh: Don't have a heart attack, LRCW. I'm just kidding. We never owned a Dyson. :jump:

February 13, 200917 yr Author Put in wood simulated floors and swiffer. That is what we did. Still have our rainbow, though. I have actual hardwood flooring in part of the house, but a swiffer doesn't do a very good job of cleaning up after two 6 year olds, and a dog. I used it last night, and was astonished at how quickly I filled the cannister with dust and dirt. The kids were even more amazed at how much dirt, dust, and dog hair had been in their house. I loved it. So far, so good. Plus I found the same sweeper $75 dollars cheaper at Best Buy. I went back to Lowes to see if they would match the price, that not only matched it, but beat it by 10%. I got $125 and some change back. :dancingpa:dancingpa
