Scott has played a much tougher schedule and has a little more impressive resume than Harrison at this point. Reitz has not beaten Carr in a district or regional type game including when he was at Campbell County and supposedly had the more talented team.

 

Your right. Carr smoked Reitz in every game when he was at Campbell except for one when Scott's best player, Nate Sharp, missed that one.

Scott did get beat by 21 by Mason. If you want to compare losses by Harrison & Scott that is fine, let's do. Who do you think has the better team comparing these records? Scott has played a tougher schedule and has fewer losses, not to mention some real close ones against teams ranked in the state except for Dixie.

Didn't Scott get hammered at home by Mason? By your logic of Harrison getting throttled on their home floor by Scott, maybe we should pose the same question of Scott.

For those of you that were there at the game, it was a battle the whole game. The lead never got bigger by any more than a 5 point margin for almost the whole game. Mason County had a 5 point lead around the 2 1/2 minute mark in the 4th and thats when Scott seemed to run out of gas and force things and then Mason caught fire. The game then opened up into a bigger margin. The game was MUCH MUCH closer than what the score indicates.

Harrison has the talent trust me. There is not one player on the varsity roster that doesnt star in other sports. Harrison is a deadly team when they shoot the three ball well. Scott was Harrisons first game at home and were without one of there main leaders on the court. What does that have to do with the fact that you dont think they can compete in the region? I assure you that this team could compete with anyone in the region. They might not be able to beat everyone in the region but they can compete. If anyone thinks that playing Harrison is an easy game to win, then your crazy.

Mason Co was in total control at the start of the 4th quarter.

IMO their only chance is if they win the 38th, and GRC and/or Scott gets upset first round of regionals. This is their only chance, which is VERY unlikely.

Tonight's game at Mason County should give us an idea. Harrison seems to have improved some, and Mason has lost a couple against really good competition lately. If the Breds can keep it in single digits for most of the game; I'll say yes, they certainly can compete.
