Does anyone know how close Jonathon is to the all time 16th region scoring record?

Might be there before postseason!

Someone posted the numbers a while back. I believe King Kelly Coleman is still a few hundred points away.

I believe Bert Greene had around 3200 points.

My bad. I was thinking state wide. I believe you are right about Bert Greene.

Him and his son both could fill it up!

I think Greene had 3175 I would say he is within 100 or less.

At the pace he is on, he could break the 16th region record second game of district or early in the Regional Tournament! Who knows, if Elliott goes far in the state he could break the Ky scoring record which is around 3400 I think? Kind of a stretch to do it, but its possible.

The King scored 4,337 points. His record is quite safe.

Wow. I thought it was only around 3400. Yes his record will be safe for a long time.:thumb:

"Cyclone" Charlie Osborne is also safe at #2 with 3,647 as are Harry Todd at 3,567 and Chris Harrison at 3,542. Some of the others thereafter are probably safe also. Ferguson should finish in the middle to bottom of the top 10.

I think it is interesting to look at the number of games played by each of these guys. I would vernure to say that Ferguson will participate in a goodly number more games than the others and far more than Coleman and "Cyclone Charlie". That, I believe, illustrates what great scorers these earlier guys were in high school.

I wonder who has the highest all time scoring average per game in Ky?

King Kelley Coleman at 48 points per game. He has about every scoring record or is at least in the top 5. They didn't call him the King for nothing, and to think he didn't play at West Virginia because Kentucky made them investigate gifts that were given to him. Back them the cats didn't take no prisoners; we need to get back to that way.
