Any thoughts?

If Morgan wins they get the 3 Seed in District. If they lose who gets the 3?

If Morgan Loses - it will depend on what happens tonight between the East v.s. Raceland game. If East loses Morgan still has 3 seed, if East wins that is a tie between East and Morgan. Comes down to a coin flip.

If Morgan wins tonight they get the #2 seed, not the #3 seed. If they lose they COULD drop all the way to #4.

How is that I thought West already had the #2 seed because they have a higher winning percentage (if thats how they are doing it now) than Morgan or East can get to tonight even if they both win and West would lose.

The only way Morgan gets the 4th slot is through coin toss. West is 9-4, Morgan 12-5 and East 9-5. Morgan could very well be the #2 seed, but 2 or 3 don't matter in all reality.

A Morgan Co. win would give them a .722%

A West Carter win would give them a .714%

A East Carter win would give them a .667%

If Morgan can control the pace of the game . . . and if they can keep Maze and Metz from dominating . . . they might keep it close. But I don't see it happening. Bath by 10+.

Since we are throwing out all of these % even though Morgan will have played 3 more games than East and 4 more than West. Here is some numbers taking the teams these above % were from and looking at those teams records to check strength of schedule. Which by this formula Morgan is trying to use and who could blame them because it keeps them from playing Elliott in opening round shows really that whoever played the weaker schedule is going to get the higher seed. Instead of going head to head to head which you would have to say is the fairest. Anyway here is the numbers:

West teams (of the 9-4 record only being considered for the seeding) have a combined record of 153-114 .573%

East teams (9-5) have a combined record of 160-136 .540%

Morgan teams (12-5) have a combined record of 189-163 .537%

You can see that Morgan has played an easier schedule.

I'm going to say Morgan by 6. They're playing well and have a lot riding on this game.

Morgan @ home by 8.
