I am actually looking forward to the matchup. I think the Dogs are very tough and athletic. The Birds need to come out physical and take the Dogs out of their game. I think they have a great chance but if I would rather they lose in regular season rather than in the 9th Region Championship game, I will take a loss tomorrow.

 

Dogs should win the game at home but I think the Birds keep it close with toughness.

Pittman hangs out too much on the perimeter anyway so I don't expect those two to even cross paths. If Pittman is going to get a dunk it will only be in transition I can tell you that.

You cant compare Euton to Grubbs. Euton more skilled and better player but Grubbs more physical. There will be some forearm shivers to anyone coming across the lane I am sure.:taz:

He can throw out all the forearms, elbows, etc... Pittman will adapt and dominate. IMO :isurrender:

Grubbs isn't the type of player to "talk" during games. I doubt very seriously that match up becomes as heated as some are predicting, especially after Pittman got the T last game.

 

Grubbs will no doubt be physical, but he'll let his play do the talking...same with Pittman.

I would LOVED to see Tony Guidugli bangin' the boards for the Birds in this one. He knows how to get under the Dawgs skin and out of their game! Would have been interesting.........

That might be worth the price of admission. He was ready to go to blows in the post-game handshake last year at the JV game.

Is Grubbs the big O-linemen looking kid? IF so, I don't see him on the floor much against Holmes. Bad matchup since Holmes doesn't put people on the block very often.

Yes, Grubbs is the big kid. Started o-line for the Birds this year.

 

I personally think Willie will have Dill and Watson in together a lot tonight.
