UC looks to be playing their way in....

They're not tournament worthy, I was wrong. I saw the #10 by G'Town and thought two top 10 wins were enough to get them in.

Welp, that was easy. :lol::lol:

Once I typed it out and thought about it I knew I was wrong... Was just waiting to be called out on it to admit it.:lol:

I still think Notre Dame is a good team, but their resume says otherwise...

People like you think it is a major factor and that's simply not true.

Thanks for the stereotype. You don't know what I think.. how do you know it's not. Are you in the room on selection Sunday. They acutally say on television every weekend that it is important. You choose to believe internet message board opinions, that's fine. That's your OPINION, not fact.

The main criteria is:

last 12 games, SOS, conference record, overall record. All of this is pretty much what makes up the RPI. That's why it's relevant. RPI isn't the only statistical tool I like to use, I like to look at Sag and Pom too. Actually I think Pom is the best...

I figured that it was what you think because I always see you use it in your posts and arguments :idunno:

It's just a quick stat to pull up, and is mentioned a lot when teams are compared. Just watch any broadcast on any given weekend. Personally, I've always thought it is stupid, but it is one way to too compare and contrast because of all the factors that go into it. I know it's not the determining factor, but personally I would rather sling that number around in discussion instead of AP/Coaches Polls...

UC isn't in the conversation yet, but are progressing in that direction. They did the same last year and folded down the stretch, so I'll wait and see...
