February 5, 200917 yr RPI isn't nearly as big a factor as you think it is. So much for that.... UC has won 5 out of the last 7. They got blew out by Nova, who is also playing very well...:walk:
February 5, 200917 yr Before tonight's game they had an RPI of 59, with an SOS of 23, plus they have won more than they have lost recently... UK has an RPI of 75, with a SOS of 92, losing three straight...interesting to say the least. I think UC is working thier way into the conversation. It is as UKMustang said, going to take quite abit more to get in though.
February 5, 200917 yr Author  So much for that....:lol::laugh: They are up 11 against ND right now. And that would make it 5 wins in the last 7 games.
February 5, 200917 yr You're right but record -vs- it is....and last ten.....fact is UK's SOS isn't very good, and they aren't winning, UC's is and they are around .500 in the toughest conference in the country. Are you just saying that or do you have facts? The teams they have beat in conference have awful records in the Big East.
February 5, 200917 yr UC's chances are getting much better... They're now .500 in the BEast, assuming they win tonight, with South Florida, Seton Hall, and St. John'a, they will only need one win wither @ G'town or at home against WVU, and they'll get a 9-9 record with 19 wins heading into the BEast Tourney... If they win the games they should, and pull out one tossup, they have a very good chance of making it in... UC's resume right now is better than UK's...
February 5, 200917 yr RPI isn't nearly as big a factor as you think it is. I can gurantee you that teams with an RPI in the 80's don't get in...
February 5, 200917 yr So Xaviers seed should be improving since UC is playing well. Which also means Butler is going to get a better seed than we thought. Good!
February 5, 200917 yr I can gurantee you that teams with an RPI in the 80's don't get in... It's not a huge deal like you always make it to be.
February 5, 200917 yr Author The teams they have beat in conference have awful records in the Big East. Are you aware that UK only has one win in the SEC against a team with a winning conference record?
February 5, 200917 yr Are you aware that UK only has one win in the SEC against a team with a winning conference record? Are you aware that UC has zero?
February 5, 200917 yr Are you aware that UK only has one win in the SEC against a team with a winning conference record? That just goes to show how tough the SEC is!
February 5, 200917 yr It's not a huge deal like you always make it to be. It's more important than you like to admit, and teams lower than 60 seldom get a bid.
February 5, 200917 yr They are up 11 against ND right now. And that would make it 5 wins in the last 7 games. Notre Dame is horrible. Putrid. Terrible. A disaster.
