February 3, 200917 yr I'm guessing these guys skipped the question on Obama's application that asked if they had anything in their past that would embarass the administration. That, or Obama doesn't think hiring tax cheats in positions of government leadership is an embarassment... What a surprise...Barack Obama is just another politician. Didn't see this one coming...:puke: Didn't he say there would be no lobbyists in his administration? Anyone have a count on how many he has in place two weeks after taking office?

Well he did admit to sneaking smokes during the campaign but promised he wouldn't do that in the No SMoking Allowed White House. (Ironically, it was Hillary Clinton that made the WH a no smoking zone. I think it was part of her failed health care plan.)
February 4, 200917 yr The problem is that no one that could be nominated for any position is going to be perfect, they have been in politics and their hands have to be dirty in some way. I never live up to the ideas that I profess on here, but that doesn't mean that they aren't good ideas. Did you give Republicans (& Bush) the benefit of the doubt?....

February 5, 200917 yr Author Number seven on my list. Senate Dems add to the stimulus package as he dictates to businesses that have to limit the pay of their leaders. Which in reality if you ask for a handout you should have limits put on you. With that in mind Obama should tell people on welfare that they have to give up their cell phones or their land line, give up their cable, not be allowed to buy lottery tickets or beer, even they did earn some money. Ask for a handout and there are restrictions on you. 8. Senate Dems ask for more in the stimulus package as their COLA will kick in and give them an automatic raise and support executive pay limitations.
