Lloyd 57 Dixie Heights 54

I was at the game and dissapointed in Dixie's play. Pompillio, one of their key players and driving forces, didn't seem to be a key player in the game tonight. I would have liked to see Chev shake the game up a bit, with bringing in the seventh grader. I have watched him play in some games this year and seems to change the momentum when him and Trammel are in together. He was a big factor in the win for the Scott game. Pike also seems to be an upcoming player that also comes off the bench bringing some intensity to the game. It really seems to me that some of the coaching decisions tonight, caused the loss of this game. I think Chev might want to go to his bench a little more!!! There might be some more wins in Dixie's future.

I'd consider this a mild upset but congrats to Lloyd on the win.

Things don't get any easier for the Colonels having to travel to Covington tomorrow night.

Who do they play in Covington? Are they good?:idunno:

Good win for the Juggs. So does anyone know what the standings are now in the 34th District?

I think you know that Dixie plays Holmes tonight..

Lloyd 3-1

St. Henry 3-0 (Ludlow left to play)

Dixie 1-2 (Ludlow left to play)

Villa 1-3

Ludlow 0-2 (St. Henry; Dixie left to play)

Lloyd senior forward Zack Craddock scored 20 points, including a game-tying 3-pointer with 2 seconds left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and Lloyd went on to beat visiting Dixie Heights 57-54 Monday night.

Craddock finished with five 3-pointers.

Lloyd sophomore center Donnie Cheatum sealed it at the free-throw line, going 3-for-4 at the end of the game to give Lloyd its final margin of victory.

St. Henry has clinched the #1 seed since they beat Lloyd. Lloyd has clinched the #2 seed. Dixie should beat Ludlow and be the 3 seed and play Lloyd in a rematch in the bottom bracket. And St. Henry will wait for the Villa vs. Ludlow winner in the Semis of the district. Does this sound correct?

Yea that sounds right.

Where is the 34th being held this year?

Thanks, I didn't know with ST. Henry joining the 34th. I thought maybe they would host.

That's what I thought too..because in 04 Scott hosted when they were still in the 9th. I'd guess it's either St. Henry or Villa hosting this year.
