With Shelby taking out Elliott, who it was thought by many would win this tourney for fun, does that make them the favorite in 2:30 PM's final; or does perennial finals' participant and former state champ, Bardstown win it all ?

I picked Shelby Valley to win in the All "A" contest over Hazard, so I'm taking them over Bardstown as well.

 

I see Bardstown's athleticism keeping it close for a while but ultimately SV's size becomes too much and they win in the 10-15 range.

Does the big win over Elliott County (which ended about 3 hours ago) take anything out of Shelby Valley? Could the quickness and athleticism of Bardstown be too much for Shelby Valley to handle at this time?

 

I think that if the tournament schedule had played out like it was scheduled, Shelby Valley would be the favorite over Bardstown. But with a limited turn-around, I'm not so sure Bardstown isn't the favorite now.

 

Either way, I think it's a fairly low scoring game. Bardstown 45, Shelby Valley 41.

Central Kentucky the game is on CWKYT. I'm on Time Warner and it's channel 99. On Insight, I believe it's channel 5.

I am going with Valley in a double-digit win. I think Bardstown folds under the 1/2 court pressure.

One thing Bardstown has in its favor in a couple hours more rest than SV. Could make a difference the stretch IDK.

After watching Shelby Valley today, I'd have a hard time going against them in this one. They are a good team.
